The long life Buddha refers to Amitayus, also known as Aparmita, or Amitābha a Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism associated with the blessing of long life, merit, and wisdom. He is one of the three primary Long Life Deities, along with White Tara and Ushnishavijaya (Namgyalma), and is frequently invoked in longevity practices through meditation, mantra recitation, and rituals to accumulate merit and avoid premature death.
Sculpted cold cast bronze is bronze powder mixed with resin. The figure is then hand-painted to give it an antique look.
