The crucifix features a Latin cross with soft, rounded lines, supporting a stylized and dark Corpus, represented in an essential silhouette that invites contemplation of the mystery without visual distractions.
Dolfi figures, rosaries, and bracelets are handmade in workshops in Val Gardena, Italy. The beads are firmly linked by a sturdy masterfully knotted waxed cord, ensuring strength, durability. The olive wood is obtained through the sustainable practice of pruning, rather than cutting down the historic trees. Olive wood has a distinct, pleasant aroma from the natural oils present in the wood.
While it smells good naturally, improper cleaning can cause it to develop a rancid, sour smell. It should be cleaned with mild soap and, if necessary, treated with a mix of baking soda and water to refresh it.
