Posters, offset lithographs, are printed when individual sheets of paper roll over 4 different metal cylinders (drums). One color at a time. One color per drum. Even though the paper is acid free and the inks are sun fade resistant the artist recommends framing them with uv protection glass and acid free mats. Clients have asked her for replacements of posters that have faded from not having been framed with uv protection glass. Unfortunately, many have been discontinued. So, it best to plan and frame with UV Conservation Clear protection glass. Hand signed prints, are smaller sizes and printed the same process as the limited editions and posters They are completely different images than in the posters, giclee’s or limited-edition groups.
