Rosaries are symbols of faith, devotion, and a unique connection to spirituality. For centuries, rosaries have held a profoundly significant role in the Catholic tradition, used as guides for prayer and meditation. Each bead is infused with meaning, as a reminder of sacred Mysteries and moments of reflection.
Olive wood is deeply revered as holy in Christianity primarily because Jesus Christ prayed under an olive tree before he sacrificed himself on the cross for our sins.
The Feast of St. Francis of Assisi is celebrated annually on October 4th to honor the patron saint of animals and the environment. St. Anthony of Padua was one of St. Francis' most faithful spiritual children. The Feast of St. Anthony of Padua (June 13) celebrates the renowned 13th-century Franciscan preacher, theologian, and "wonder-worker" known for his love of the poor and as the patron saint of lost items. A close follower of St. Francis of Assisi, Anthony is celebrated for his profound devotion to Scripture and his role in establishing Franciscan studies.
Dolfi figures, rosaries, and bracelets are handmade in workshops in Val Gardena, Italy. The beads are firmly linked by a sturdy masterfully knotted waxed cord, ensuring strength, durability. The olive wood is obtained through the sustainable practice of pruning, rather than cutting down the historic trees. Olive wood has a distinct, pleasant aroma from the natural oils present in the wood.
While it smells good naturally, improper cleaning can cause it to develop a rancid, sour smell. It should be cleaned with mild soap and, if necessary, treated with a mix of baking soda and water to refresh it.
