While Cherished Teddies is best known for hand-painted resin figurines, the brand expanded into licensed beanbag plush toys, holiday bears in sweaters, and special edition stuffed animals. Since 1992, Cherished Teddies figurines have captured the hearts of collectors. The figures are created based on the illustrations of artist Priscilla Hillman and her son Glenn, this adorable collection includes figurines for every cherished occasion. After the collection’s first retirements in 1995, Enesco has retired a selection of figurines each year, enhancing that figurine’s value and collectability. Once a figurine is retired, the mold is broken and it will never be produced again, increasing its collector value. Enesco stopped producing Cherished Teddies figurines in 2017.
