Llamas are uniquely adapted for high desert and mountainous environments. Native to the Andes Mountains they thrive in cold, dry, and sparsely vegetated high-altitude regions. Brightly colored acrylic yarn with traditional Perúvian festive wear.
Sheep’s wool is an amazingly adaptable fiber. It can be dyed any color and when hand felted it can be molded into any shape or cut and sewn together. Wool is a natural and sustainable resource that continues to grow each year after the annual harvesting of the fleece. The felting and most of the stitching process is all done by hand resulting in products with a relatively soft impact on the environment.
